They are seeking a skilled Loan Officer to become a vital member of their expanding team, offering a pathway for career advancement.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and nurture relationships with a broad spectrum of commercial real estate developers and brokers.
- Source, assess, and finalize real estate loans secured by various property types, including office, retail, multi-family, industrial, and hospitality.
- Conduct thorough credit and risk evaluations of real estate collateral, encompassing property economics and market assessments.
- Analyze loan opportunities based on their structure, legal documentation, and pricing within established credit risk guidelines.
- Perform annual credit reviews, monitor loan performance, and propose solutions for non-performing or defaulted loans.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in closing real estate loans across all product types, including multi-family, retail, office, and NNN transactions.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with borrowers, loan originators, underwriting teams, and regulatory agencies to facilitate timely closings.
- Experience working with various lenders, including commercial banks, credit unions, CMBS, and life insurance companies.
- A Bachelor's Degree is highly preferred.
