Job Summary

Aveanna Healthcare LLC is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide high-quality patient care in the comfort of the patient's home. As a LPN with Aveanna, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients and families, and to make a meaningful difference in their lives.

Responsibilities
  • Provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans to meet those needs.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by physicians.
  • Document all patient interactions and care provided in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current, unrestricted state license as a Licensed Nurse in the state of practice.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation, and compliance with nursing care and policies and procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Six (6) months of recent experience as a Licensed Nurse in a clinical care setting.
  • Home health experience.
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to speak, write, read, and understand English.
  • Must be able to travel.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to sufficiently reposition patients and move equipment without assistance.
Work Environment
  • Must be able to function in a wide variety of environments which may involve exposure to allergens and other various conditions.
  • Possible exposure to blood, bodily fluids, and infectious diseases.
