We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Freedom Behavioral Hospital of Ferriday. As a Nurse Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and leadership to our psychiatric unit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care within the scope of the RN nursing license
- Assume leadership responsibility for day-to-day coordination of patient care activities
- Communicate with the medical staff on identified patient issues
- Participate in performance improvement through completion of assigned chart monitoring
- Coordinate the performance of nursing care to patients within the scope of practice
Requirements:
- Associate Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing minimum
- RN License through the state board of nursing
- One-year minimum experience in Mental Health Preferred
