Position Overview
To safeguard Abbott's essential operations and uphold our mission of prioritizing those we serve, we are seeking a seasoned leader in Manufacturing Security. This individual will have experience in large-scale global manufacturing environments and will report to the Senior Director of Manufacturing Cybersecurity. The role involves enhancing people, processes, and technology to ensure effective cybersecurity risk management within manufacturing settings.

The successful candidate will be tasked with:
  • Developing and executing strategic cybersecurity initiatives to protect critical Operational Technology (OT) infrastructure.
  • Collaborating with various sites and cybersecurity teams to balance security enhancements with operational resilience and digital transformation.
  • Engaging with global manufacturing locations to gain a comprehensive understanding of key cyber processes and technologies.
  • Evaluating both emerging and existing cybersecurity tools and advocating for the adoption of robust standards to mitigate risks.

Qualifications
Applicants should possess:
  • Over 10 years of experience in a global manufacturing context, focusing on cybersecurity activities related to OT and Industrial Control Systems (ICS).
  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information security, or a related field.
  • A strong grasp of cybersecurity principles, risk management frameworks, and industry standards such as NIST Cybersecurity Frameworks and IEC62443.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity tools such as Armis, Splunk, and Sentinel One.
  • Relevant certifications, including CISSP, CISM, or GICSP, are highly desirable.
