Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at Forefront Dermatology. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dermatologists in delivering high-quality medical services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Room patients and document vital information
• Scribe information for the dermatologist
• Provide post-op wound care to patients
• Draw blood and remove sutures
• Clean and stock exam rooms
• Schedule patient appointments

Procedures and Tasks:

• Assist the dermatologist with procedures such as surgical photographs, biopsies, excisions, and injections
• Maintain a clean and organized environment in the exam rooms
• Develop strong relationships with patients and staff

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Post-high school education in a medical support field (Certified Medical Assistant, Licensed Practical Nurse, or Registered Nurse preferred)
• 1-2 years of recent experience in a medical office in a similar capacity
• Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office and Electronic Medical Record systems
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
