Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Airport Firefighter to join our team at Global Medical Response Inc. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong commitment to protecting life and property in a fast-paced airport environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to emergency calls and provide firefighting and rescue services as needed.
  • Operate and maintain fire department equipment and apparatus.
  • Participate in training and drills to ensure readiness for emergency situations.
  • Collaborate with other emergency responders and airport staff to ensure a safe and efficient response to emergencies.
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections of fire department equipment and facilities.
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Valid state driver's license.
  • Ability to speak and understand English (verbal and written).
  • Knowledge of fire suppression, prevention, and combat techniques as it applies to aircraft.
  • Certifications in NIMS 100, 200, 700, and 800, NFPA 1001 Firefighter II, NFPA 472 Hazardous Materials-Operations, and NFPA 1003 Airport Firefighter.
  • EMT certification or higher.
