Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate EMT Intermediate to join our team at Emt Ambulance. As a key member of our emergency medical services team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a professional and caring manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Maintain a clean appearance and demonstrate courteous, professional, and ethical behavior at all times.
  • Continuously improve and upgrade your skills and knowledge in the emergency medical profession.
  • Render competent patient care in both pre-hospital and inter-facility settings.
  • Comply with all applicable protocols for emergency treatment and transportation as per company policy and/or local and EPAB regulations.
  • Safely operate and maintain emergency vehicles and equipment.
  • Communicate patient information to other members of the healthcare profession.
  • Communicate information through the proper chain of command to management and other employees.
  • Comply with local, state, and regional emergency medical service operations, regulations, and laws.
  • Accurately and completely document information required by the company, the Department of Health, and EPAB.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • One year related experience preferred.
  • Maintain a current Valid Driver's License.
  • Maintain, on file, current and valid EMT Intermediate Certification.
  • Maintain, on file, current and valid CPR (Health Care Provider minimum) certification.
  • Maintain, on file, current certification cards on all other skill-based pay levels (BTLS, PALS, Peep, etc.).
Physical Demands
  • Sit and stand for extended periods of time.
  • Walk, bend, squat, twist, reach, push, pull, and carry.
  • Frequently lift and/or move more than 125 pounds, including lifting, moving, and carrying patients up and down stairs.
