Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate EMT Basic to join our team at Stark Summit Ambulance. As an EMT Basic, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a professional and caring manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures
  • Maintain a clean appearance and demonstrate courteous, professional, and ethical behavior
  • Continually improve and upgrade skills and knowledge of the emergency medical profession
  • Render competent patient care in pre-hospital and inter-facility settings
  • Comply with all applicable protocols for emergency treatment and transportation
  • Safely operate and maintain emergency vehicles and equipment
  • Communicate patient information to other healthcare professionals
  • Document information accurately and completely
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • One year related experience preferred
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Current EMT Basic/Intermediate Certification
  • CPR (Health Care Provider minimum) certification
  • Ability to lift and move up to 250 pounds
Physical Demands
  • Sit and stand for extended periods
  • Walk, bend, squat, twist, reach, push, pull, and carry
  • Frequently lift and/or move more than 125 pounds
Working Conditions

This position requires working in a fast-paced environment with frequent exposure to emergency situations. The ability to remain calm and composed under pressure is essential.
