Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Right of Way Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will perform a range of right of way work to support public sector projects, progressing from administrative tasks to complex, politically sensitive transactions and project management functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform right of way work to support public sector projects.
  • Coordinate efforts with property owners, tenants, and other stakeholders as needed.
  • Review and understand title strategies, and facilitate/assist with other regulatory activities.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and project stakeholders.
  • Prepare reports and correspondence, and provide excellent oral and written communication skills.

Requirements

  • Associate degree or one-two plus years of Right of Way negotiator experience or equivalent combination.
  • One year ROW negotiator experience is required.
  • Valid driver's license and automobile liability insurance.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, and presentation skills.
  • Microsoft office, GIS Mapping, read roadway construction plans, Deeds, Plats.
  • FHWA Uniform Act.

Preferred Qualities

  • Ability to travel 75% within territory.
  • Good listener and able to establish personal confidence.
