Are you a skilled Cardiac Sonographer looking for a per diem opportunity in Reading, PA? We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team at Penn State Health St. Joseph Medical Center.
About the RoleWe are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cardiac Sonographer to perform cardiac ultrasound studies under the supervision of a sonographer from a more senior category or a physician. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities- Perform cardiac ultrasound studies under the supervision of a sonographer from a more senior category or a physician.
- Maintain accurate records and reports of all studies performed.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Must be ARDMS or CCI registered or registry eligible. If registry eligible, must be registered within 1 year of start date.
- Must obtain American Heart Association BLS certification within 6 months from hire.
