Job SummaryWe are looking for dedicated professionals to perform cardiac ultrasound studies under the supervision of a sonographer from a more senior category or a physician. As a Cardiac Sonographer at Penn State Health, you will be part of a team that delivers high-quality patient care and contributes to the advancement of healthcare in our community.
Key Responsibilities- Perform cardiac ultrasound studies in accordance with established protocols and procedures.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with industry advancements.
- A minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Active registration with ARDMS or CCI, or eligibility to register within one year of hire.
- Obtain American Heart Association BLS certification within six months from hire.
