About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at the Kennebunk Center for Health & Rehabilitation. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health, comfort, and overall well-being of our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each resident.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies as prescribed by physicians, ensuring the highest level of care and safety.
  • Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical information, providing accurate and timely updates to the healthcare team.
  • Provide wound care and other nursing interventions as needed, promoting optimal healing and recovery.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic care delivery, addressing the physical, emotional, and social needs of our residents.
  • Supervise and guide Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Certified Nurse Assistants (CNAs) in delivering high-quality care, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.

Requirements
  • A valid state license as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care.
  • Interest in the nursing needs of the aged and the chronically ill, with the ability to work with both.
  • Strong clinical skills and critical thinking abilities, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment, promoting collaboration and teamwork.
