Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Drucker + Falk, a leading performance driven real estate services and investment firm. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing make-ready repairs to all vacant units prior to move-in, ensuring that our properties are well-maintained and meet the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform Repairs and Maintenance - Conduct timely and efficient repairs to make-ready units, ensuring that they are ready for occupancy.
  • On-Call Responsibilities - Respond to on-call paging and be available 24/7 to address maintenance requests and emergencies.
  • Assist Maintenance Superintendent - Collaborate with the Maintenance Superintendent to complete tasks and projects, and assist with inventory control and utilization of maintenance materials and supplies.
  • Inspect Properties - Conduct regular inspections of properties to identify areas for improvement and report findings to the Maintenance Superintendent.
  • Operate Equipment - Safely operate and perform scheduled maintenance on all equipment, including HVAC systems, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Paint and Clean - Paint interior and exterior surfaces as needed, and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Teamwork and Communication - Work collaboratively with other staff members to achieve common goals, and communicate effectively with the Maintenance Superintendent and other stakeholders.
Requirements
  • HVAC Skills - Possess CFC certification and experience with HVAC systems.
  • Plumbing, Electrical, and Carpentry Skills - Have experience with plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work, including knowledge of SDS and OSHA regulations.
  • Reliable Transportation - Possess a reliable vehicle for transportation to and from work sites.
