As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for performing various functions associated with the fabrication of contact lenses using advanced machines and equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Perform a range of processes required of a Production Operator 1, including ensuring the cleanliness and organization of work areas using 5S procedures.
  • Operate specialized equipment necessary for specific product groups, such as toric generator lathing and metrology equipment.
  • Participate in Lean and Six Sigma teams to drive process improvements and quality enhancements.
  • Assist coordinators and technicians in managing workflow and demonstrating leadership skills.
  • Work extended hours to complete daily department goals or tasks, including mandatory overtime.
Qualifications
  • Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written, and comprehension of the English language.
  • Potential to lead a team and desire for personal and professional continuous improvement.
  • Strong understanding of and compliance with all SOPs, regulatory requirements, and cGMPs.
  • Ability to read and understand Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and follow safety and equipment maintenance procedures.
Work Environment

This role requires working scheduled holidays and overtime to maintain service levels for customers. The work environment involves standing, sitting, walking, and performing various physical activities, including lifting up to 25 lbs.
