Prysmian Group is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As an Electrical Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing electrical circuits, as well as supporting daily production activities by installing, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical equipment in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities- Read and interpret mechanical blueprints, electrical schematics, and parts specifications to ensure accurate installation and maintenance of electrical equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair basic electrical component issues, including replacing ballasts, fuses, circuit breakers, and other electrical components.
- Install, diagnose, and repair electrical systems, apparatus, and electrical components of industrial machinery and equipment.
- Collaborate with other departments, management, and associates to maintain effective communication and ensure efficient production workflows.
- Work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment and respond efficiently and courteously to unanticipated problems and crises.
- 3-5 years of experience in an electrical maintenance atmosphere.
- Working knowledge of PLCs and automation.
- Ability to lift and carry objects of 10-25 pounds as needed.
- Must provide evidence of electrical training or technical degree.
The ideal candidate will be required to stand, bend, kneel, and squat frequently. The employee will occasionally be required to lift and carry objects of 25-30 pounds as needed. The employee will work productively and cooperatively in a high-volume, fast-paced, highly pressured environment.
