Job Title: Resident Engineer - Construction Oversight

Job Summary:

Kleinfelder is seeking an experienced Resident Engineer to oversee construction projects in Massachusetts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering and construction management, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in similar roles.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide on-site construction oversight and management for civil, water, and wastewater projects
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and regulations
  • Coordinate with project stakeholders, including owners, contractors, and engineers
  • Manage project documentation, including daily reports, progress updates, and change orders
  • Review and recommend acceptance of change proposals

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree or equivalent combination of experience and education
  • Minimum 10 years of experience as a Resident Engineer or Owner's Representative in utility and roadway construction projects
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
