Job Summary: Destinationone Consulting is seeking a skilled Medical Records Clerk to organize and maintain patient records within a healthcare facility. This role ensures that patient information is accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible for healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Organize and file patient medical records accurately and efficiently.
  • Retrieve and process requests for patient information from healthcare providers and authorized personnel.
  • Input and update patient information in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Ensure the accuracy of data entry to maintain high-quality patient records.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of patient records in compliance with HIPAA and other regulations.
  • Assist in audits to ensure records meet legal and regulatory standards.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in Health Information Management or related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in medical records or a healthcare administrative role is a plus.
  • Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
