Position Overview:
In this role, you will contribute to the treatment and management of patients with specific clinical needs.

Key Responsibilities:
- Educating patients and/or caregivers on the proper use of equipment and respiratory care techniques
- Ensuring patients and/or caregivers can effectively operate and maintain equipment
- Conducting clinical evaluations and tests, including pulse oximetry, ETCO2, spirometry, and vital signs
- Performing routine follow-ups based on individual patient requirements
- Utilizing various respiratory care devices, including oxygen therapy, nebulization, and ventilation
- Inspecting and testing equipment to guarantee optimal performance
- Keeping detailed patient records and documentation
- Collaborating with referring healthcare providers on patient care plans
- Engaging in continuous education and training for respiratory care
- Assisting with patient scheduling as needed
- Executing any additional duties as required

Minimum Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited respiratory therapy program

Required Certifications and Licenses:
- Valid driver's license and auto insurance in accordance with company policy
- Registration or certification from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
- Current RCP license in the state of practice
- Current CPR Certification

Skills and Competencies:
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
- Ability to multitask effectively
- Excellent communication skills across various formats
- Proficiency in using electronic devices and Microsoft Office applications

Preferred Qualifications:
- A minimum of one year of relevant experience

Physical Requirements:

While performing job duties, you may need to handle equipment, reach, stoop, kneel, communicate, listen, and utilize various tools and controls. Travel by air and vehicle may be necessary, with the potential for lifting equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.

Work Environment:

The work environment may vary, exposing you to different conditions such as dust, fumes, odors, and temperature changes. You may also be required to operate a vehicle in various weather conditions and travel off-site.
