OU Health - 700 NE 13th is seeking a skilled Travel Nurse RN to provide high-quality patient care in a hospital setting. As a Travel Nurse RN, you will be responsible for delivering patient care competently, interacting with family and patient in sharing care plans, and informing patients and families of hospital procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provides nursing care in a hospital to a variety of patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex.
  • Assumes responsibility for an assigned group of patients.
  • Documents patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments.
  • Assists physician in the examination of patients and in performing minor diagnostic procedures and treatment.
  • Obtains and monitors physiological data of patients, observes the physiological manifestations of patients, and intervenes when necessary.
  • Administers medication as prescribed and initiates, regulates, and monitors intravenous infusions and blood products.
  • Delivers patient care competently and interacts with family and patient in sharing care plans.
  • Informs patient and family of hospital procedures and makes referral regarding patient care needs to appropriate personnel.
  • Delegates tasks to support staff and performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements

To be successful as a Travel Nurse RN, you must have a strong foundation in nursing principles and practices, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment.
