Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and build strong relationships with customers and prospects
  • Identify customer needs and provide advice and guidance on financial solutions
  • Work collaboratively with the branch team and BMO partners to deliver a seamless customer experience
  • Act as an originator of consumer loans and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Proactively engage with customers to grow loyalty and identify opportunities for growth
  • Offer advice and guidance on available digital and self-serve options to make banking easy, simple, and fast
  • Support customer transaction needs and address questions and resolve issues raised through consumer credit audits and quality checks
  • Apply the risk management framework to protect the Bank's assets and maintain the quality of the lending portfolio
  • Make credit recommendations for personal lending transactions in accordance with sound credit granting principles and Bank policies
Requirements
  • Typically 2-3 years of relevant experience and a post-secondary degree in a related field of study
  • Registration to sell investment products completed, as appropriate for the jurisdiction
  • Appropriate lending qualifications and designations
  • Working knowledge of personal and small business customer needs and solutions
  • Working knowledge of retail investments and lending products
  • Experience in financial services is an asset
