Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team at Road & Rail Services. As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for providing leadership and management oversight for the Vehicle Handling department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Comply with all industry, customer, and company safety regulations and operating procedures.
  • Exercise discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance within the scope of duties, including but not limited to hire, fire, promotions, or other changes in employee status.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable Company, Customer, OSHA, EPA, FRA, and DOT regulations by performing key audits and/or relevant inspections.
  • Ensure all associates understand and comply with applicable customer and company work instructions, quality procedures, and site SOP's.
  • Continually seek and document methods for improvement in the quality of the services being provided and the efficiency in which those services are conducted.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
  • Valid state driver's license.
  • Supervisory experience is a must.
  • Microsoft Office knowledge is a must.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Teamwork, can-do attitude, and willingness to learn.
  • Safety first mentality.
