Job Summary

The Good Samaritan Society is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at our Bismarck facility. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing resident-centered care and daily living assistance to our residents under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN).

Responsibilities
  • Provide resident-centered care and daily living assistance to assigned residents
  • Assist with basic health care needs, including daily living activities such as bathing, toileting, grooming, and dressing/undressing
  • Obtain and record vital signs, and provide psychosocial support and other personal care to assigned residents
  • Assist residents with meals and snacks, and provide water and supplements as appropriate
  • Document resident interactions and outcomes related to resident care, behavior, activity, and dietary
Requirements
  • High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred
  • Minimum age of 16
  • Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position
  • Satisfactorily completes yearly department specific competency testing and maintains a record of continuing education credits for each year
