Agile Coach

As a Scrum Master at Omm IT Solutions, you will play a vital role in facilitating our software development teams to achieve their goals. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the smooth execution of Scrum ceremonies, including Daily Standups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies to ensure effective team collaboration and communication.
• Guide the team in adopting Agile practices and principles, and mentor them in self-organization and cross-functionality.
• Assess team maturity and provide coaching to help them improve.
• Remove impediments or guide the team to remove impediments, ensuring the team's progress is not hindered.
• Support and educate the Product Owner on grooming and maintaining product backlogs.

• Active or expired IRS MBI Clearance is required.
• Minimum five years of experience as a Scrum Master for a software development team.
• Excellent leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency skills.
• Knowledge of Burndown techniques, Retrospective formats, handling bugs, and other Agile-related concepts.

• Agile Methodology: Proficient understanding and experience in Agile practices, including Scrum, Kanban, and SAFE.
• Facilitation Skills: Ability to facilitate Scrum ceremonies effectively.
• Coaching and Mentoring: Skills to coach teams on Agile practices and principles, and mentor team members in self-organization and cross-functionality.
• Conflict Resolution: Capability to address and resolve team conflicts effectively.
• Stakeholder Management: Experience in working with stakeholders to ensure alignment and understanding of project goals.
• Metrics and Reporting: Ability to track team progress using relevant Agile metrics and communicate that to stakeholders.
