Job Title: Aquatic Fitness Coach

 

About the Position

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Aquatic Fitness Coach at Fort Bliss, TX. In this role, you will provide high-quality training to students in accordance with established Aviation Rescue Swimmers Preparatory courses.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver formal classroom instruction and outdoor field physical training, as well as swim training, to help students acquire physical fitness and swimming skills.
  • Prepare administrative documentation related to students and maintain student required training metrics.
  • Participate in scheduled Emergency Action Plan drills.
Requirements
  • Demonstrate knowledge of training principles and techniques to educate students on physical fitness and swimming skills.
  • Show expertise in health and fitness fields, safety programs, and regulations.
  • Knowledge and ability to teach/test physical fitness and swim standards.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills for effective management, supervision, and instruction of students.
Education/Experience
  • Must pass High Risk Instructor screening.
  • Complete Physical Training Instructor (PTI) course or equivalent within 2 months of employment if not previously completed.
  • Obtain and maintain American Red Cross Adult CPR and First Aid certification within 6 months of employment.
  • Hold lifeguard qualification.

 

The estimated salary for this position is $65,000-$80,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. This figure is based on the location, job requirements, and industry standards.
