Position Overview:
The Southern Regional Float Pool is responsible for executing a comprehensive array of medical laboratory tests, analyzing, and reporting results on blood and bodily fluids. This vital work supports healthcare providers in diagnosing, preventing, and treating diseases across three distinct laboratory locations.

Corewell Health Facilities:
- Pennock Hospital
- Zeeland Hospital

Quality Assurance:
Engagement in quality assurance and quality control activities is essential, utilizing the same analyzers and test menus across the three locations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct, interpret, and correlate clinical laboratory tests by adhering to departmental protocols to aid in physician diagnosis and treatment.
- Prepare and screen patient specimens for testing, analyzing them for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes.
- Execute quality control procedures and contribute to the efficient operation of the laboratory.
