Role Overview:

The Digital Marketing Consultant – Web Strategy and Experimentation will play a crucial role in facilitating the transition of public websites to the Optimizely Digital Experience Platform, while also embracing advanced digital marketing strategies such as experimentation and personalization. Key responsibilities include designing, executing, and evaluating web experiments, identifying personalization opportunities, and supporting the user acceptance testing process to enhance user experience and promote business growth on public-facing web platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement A/B tests, multivariate tests, and various web experiments aimed at improving user experience and conversion rates.
  • Utilize statistical methods to analyze test outcomes and provide actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Work closely with product managers, designers, developers, and other stakeholders to formulate and execute testing strategies.
  • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of web experiments.
  • Support user acceptance testing/quality assurance for web pages being redesigned in a new content management system as part of the website migration initiative.

Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related discipline is required.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in web experimentation, A/B testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), or a similar role.
  • Familiarity with web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics) and experimentation platforms (e.g., Optimizely, VWO, Google Optimize).
  • Strong analytical capabilities with the proficiency to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong project management skills with the capability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Current knowledge of industry trends and best practices in web experimentation and optimization.
