Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Host/Hostess to join our team at Peak, a premium restaurant located on the 101st floor of 30 Hudson Yards. As a Host/Hostess, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet guests as they enter, provide menus, and answer initial questions.
  • Seat guests at tables or in waiting areas.
  • Assign guests to tables they prefer, while considering table rotation to ensure servers receive the right number of customers.
  • Engage with guests to ensure they are happy with food and service.
  • Respond to complaints and help resolve them.
  • Answer phone calls, take reservations, and answer questions.
  • Have a thorough knowledge of the menu.
  • Assist other positions in the restaurant as needed.
  • Provide exceptional customer service.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to provide top-notch customer service in a fast-paced environment.
  • A positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure with all restaurant staff.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
  • Able to work in a busy restaurant environment.
  • Restaurant experience a plus.
  • Weekend availability is a must.
