About the Role

Pacific Seafood is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Fish Filleter to join our team. As a Fish Filleter, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality of our seafood products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project and Apply Industry Standards: Demonstrate and promote Pacific Seafood's commitment to excellence, productivity, quality, and teamwork in all aspects of your work.
  • Product Grading and Cutting: Properly grade and cut various species of fish to minimize loss and maximize product recovery.
  • Sanitation and Equipment Maintenance: Maintain a clean and sanitized work area and equipment to ensure a safe and healthy working environment.
  • Quality Control and Communication: Identify and report any quality issues to supervisors and merchandising teams, and communicate effectively with colleagues to ensure seamless operations.
  • Order Fulfillment and Packing: Assist in packing and preparing orders for distribution, and help maintain a clean and organized work station.
  • Adaptability and Teamwork: Demonstrate flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities and work with colleagues to achieve team goals.
Requirements
  • Experience and Skills: Possess experience with fillet knives, food processing equipment, and food safety protocols.
