Job Summary

Pacific Seafood is seeking a skilled Fish Filleter to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for filleting various species of fish for production and retail sales, ensuring maximum use of product.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply The Pacific Group Diamond Philosophy (Productivity, Quality, Excellence and Teamwork) and promote teamwork at all times.
  • Grade product accurately.
  • Cut all types of fish to minimize loss.
  • Sanitize work area and equipment before filleting.
  • Inspect equipment to ensure proper working order.
  • Handle product to ensure maximum shelf life.
  • Properly store excess product.
  • Communicate quality issues to supervisors and merchandising.
  • Assist with packing fillet and round orders.
  • Cut and fillet 10-60 lb. fish with a knife.
  • Cut all types of portion orders to minimize loss.
  • Meet expectations for production and quality.

Requirements:

  • Experience with fillet knives, food processing equipment, and food safety.
