Job Title: Technical Lead - Software Migration Specialist

Job Overview:
As a Technical Lead at Crescens, you will play a pivotal role in the migration of our software solutions to advanced platforms. Your expertise will guide a team of developers and engineers through the upgrade process, ensuring a seamless transition to a new software version.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team in the upgrade of our proprietary software, ensuring adherence to best practices and project timelines.
  • Collaborate with quality assurance specialists to validate the successful migration of applications.
  • Utilize your technical expertise to define, document, and develop software applications while participating in architectural discussions.
  • Oversee the development, enhancement, testing, and troubleshooting of software applications that support various business functions.
  • Create comprehensive project documentation and technical specifications to support ongoing development efforts.
  • Evaluate software change requests and conduct root cause analysis to implement effective solutions.
  • Mentor junior team members and foster a collaborative knowledge-sharing environment.
  • Recommend and implement software improvements and upgrades to enhance system performance.
  • Lead critical projects and customer engagements, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Establish and maintain application standards and processes to promote operational efficiency.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in software development and migration.
  • At least 3 years of experience working in both Unix/Linux and Windows environments.
  • Strong understanding of software migration processes and cloud computing platforms.
  • Proven experience as a technical lead on software upgrade projects.
  • Excellent communication skills and a background in developing enterprise-level applications.
  • Experience working in Agile environments is preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
