We are seeking a highly skilled IT Services Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our technical support team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient maintenance and administration of our client-server system within an assigned practice.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain all on-site computer equipment, including personal computers, peripherals, servers, wireless equipment, and printers.
- Provide technical assistance and training to system users.
- Participate in needs assessments, product evaluations, security administration, implementation planning, conversion planning and verification, testing, troubleshooting, and training.
- Support and adhere to the US Oncology Compliance Program, including the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.
- Associates degree in Information Systems, business, or a related technical field.
- A+, Network+, or other hardware certifications preferred.
- Minimum three years of experience in support of Windows-based systems and other business applications, preferably in a healthcare environment.
- Experience in support of enterprise resource planning systems, standard desktop applications (MS Office, McAfee Antivirus, internet browsers, email), associated hardware platforms, and peripherals, remote troubleshooting, and mobile computing.
- Ability to work independently, self-manage job queues, and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
- Sensitivity to communications, accuracy, timeliness, and professionalism.
- Demonstrates patience, tolerance, and adaptability in all areas of support responsibilities.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, including strong oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.
