Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Consultant to join our team at Bumble Bee Blinds of Fairfield County. As a Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for selling window covering products to residential and commercial clients in your market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer support and build strong relationships with clients.
  • Drive leads and conduct lead generation activities such as local canvassing.
  • Perform in-home consultations and provide estimates to clients.
  • Build and nurture strong networking relationships with new clients, existing clients, interior designers, realtors, and builders in the market.
  • Responsible for maintaining, updating, and communicating client data, project status, and job details.
  • Utilize customer information, materials, and support to ensure efficient execution of assigned tasks.
  • Complete and submit all required task-related activities, productivity, and other documentation in a timely manner.
  • Maintain constant communication between all departments, as well as customers, on current work orders.
  • Participate in regular sales meetings, webinars, and trainings.
Requirements
  • Minimum of High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor's Degree Preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of common computer software including but not limited to: MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and CRM programs.
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.
  • Requires a daily commute to Westport, CT.
  • 1+ years of experience in self-generated lead sales, commercial sales, or customer service.
  • Very detail-oriented, organized, and can keep efficient notes and records.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including and understanding of basic grammar and writing.
  • High energy, positive attitude, and forward thinking.
  • Strong team player and the ability to excel in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Base of $20,000 to $24,000 (based on experience) + Commission.
  • Total Compensation between $50,000 to $75,000.
  • Annual Salary Increase.
  • Paid Training.
  • Ideal Start: ASAP.
  • 1-week Paid Time Off, plus Paid Holidays.
