Job Title: Lead/Covering Certified Home Health Aide - CHHA

We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) to join our team as a Lead/Covering CHHA. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality care to our clients.

Job Summary:

The Lead/Covering CHHA will be responsible for providing exceptional care to clients in their homes, while also covering shifts as needed. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate client care needs and report back to the Client Director
  • Respond promptly to call-outs and report to assigned client locations on short notice
  • Review client care plans and familiarize yourself with their specific needs and routines
  • Provide high-quality care as outlined in the care plan, including personal care, light housekeeping, and companionship
  • Adapt to different client personalities and situations positively and professionally
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients
  • Document all care provided and report any changes in the client's condition to the supervisor or nurse
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals involved in the client's care
Qualifications:
  • Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) NJ license in good standing
  • Flexible schedule with the ability to work on short notice, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong adaptability and ability to thrive in fast-paced environments
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients quickly
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license REQUIRED
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and transferring
  • Commitment to providing high-quality care and upholding client confidentiality
