We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Dollar Tree. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining store appearance, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Store Manager in the daily operation of the store, including supervising and training Store Associates.
  • Maintain a clean and well-stocked store, ensuring a positive shopping experience for customers.
  • Assist in unloading merchandise from delivery trucks, organizing merchandise, and transferring merchandise from the stockroom to the store.
  • Assist the Store Manager in ordering merchandise and record keeping, including payroll, scheduling, and cash register deposits and receipts.
  • Support the Store Manager in loss prevention efforts and assume certain management responsibilities in their absence.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; prefer completion of high school or equivalent.
  • Experience in store management in retail, grocery, or drug store environments preferred.
  • Ability to regularly lift up to 40 lbs. and occasionally up to 55 lbs. from floor level to above shoulder height.
  • Ability to work flexible, full-time schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
