Job Opportunity

Adecco Healthcare is seeking a skilled Paramedic/EMT-P to join our team in Vancouver, WA as a Medical Support Specialist. This is a direct-hire, full-time or part-time, and permanent opportunity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess donor eligibility, including managing informed consent, providing AIDS education, and conducting medical history interviews.
  • Perform physical examinations, blood testing, and review Serological Protein Electrophoresis (SPE) results.
  • Assess donor reactions and follow relevant SOPs for medical emergencies, including implementing the Center Physician's standing orders and arranging donor transport to emergency care facilities.
  • Collaborate with the Center Physician or Medical Affairs when needed to provide unacceptable findings to donors or guidance on medical or technical issues.
Requirements
  • WA Paramedic/EMT-P license (or in process of getting it).
  • BLS certification.
  • Preferred: Plasma knowledge, venipuncture skills, and bilingual abilities.
