Transportation Engineer Project Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Engineer Project Manager to lead the design and production of roadway and planning projects for various clients. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining quality control, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget, and mentoring junior staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guide the creation and execution of road designs and/or planning initiatives for the Idaho Transportation Department, local governmental bodies, and additional clients in the Pacific Northwest
- Oversee the work quality and guarantee that deadlines are met, and budgets are adhered to
- Provide guidance to less experienced team members and engage with Engineers throughout the company
- Create proposals and sustain client connections
- Aid in the expansion activities within Idaho and across the Pacific Northwest
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering from an ABET-accredited program required
- 7+ years related roadway and/or bridge design experience required, 10+ years preferred
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of Idaho required
- Experience in Bridge, Roadway and/or Traffic Design experience required
- Proficiency in Microsoft office required
- Experience with commonly used design software and CADD Standards for Idaho Transportation Department and local clients highly preferred
- Superb communication abilities and competence in serving clients across public and private sectors highly desired
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Outstanding verbal and written skills, and experience working with staff on all levels
- Excels in advanced thinking, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
