Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Contract Manager to join our Rail Infrastructure team in New York, NY.

The successful candidate will have a solid track record in contract management, excellent communication skills, and strong negotiation abilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and evaluate diverse matters with government agencies, commercial customers, partners, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  • Identify and assess contractual risks, opportunities, and requirements while ensuring compliance with all laws and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with the project management team to define the legal strategy for projects and handle project-related claim opportunities.
  • Consult with management and draft official correspondence transparently and professionally.
  • Monitor contract conditions and events, identifying claim possibilities, and defending against external claims.

Requirements

  • A law degree and extensive experience in contract management, particularly in public infrastructure and governmental contracts.
  • Minimum of eight years of hands-on experience in commercial transactions and litigation.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage in negotiations with various partners and prepare intricate contracts.
  • Strong negotiation skills and a proven ability to devise risk mitigation strategies.
  • Proficiency with project/program controls software and web-based program management systems.
  • Familiarity with regulated industries.

Our base salary range for this position in New York, NY, is $130,800 - $176,600, and the annual incentive target is 10% of the base salary.
