City of Titusville, FL is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Firefighter EMT/Paramedic Specialist to join our team. Salary: $48,018.88 - $82,185.78 per annum.

About the Role:

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about providing exceptional emergency medical services and fire suppression in a fast-paced environment. As a Firefighter EMT/Paramedic Specialist, you will be responsible for operating specialized equipment, participating in daily training classes, drills, and activities, and administering blood pressure checks to citizens.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate specialized equipment and participate in fire suppression and emergency medical operations
  • Perform equipment maintenance, housekeeping, and other related duties
  • Clean and inspect equipment after returning from a fire
  • Participate in daily training classes, drills, and activities
  • Administer blood pressure checks to citizens

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent degree
  • Current certification and licensing as Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) in accordance with State of Florida Department or HRS
  • EVOC and/or CEVO Certification
  • BLS AHA
  • State of Florida Minimum Standards for Firefighters Certification
