We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Sequim Health and Rehabilitation Center in Sequim, WA.
Job Summary
As a NOC Nursing Care Specialist, you will provide high-quality patient care to residents in accordance with current company, federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations. You will ensure assigned residents receive their medication and treatments as ordered in the respective care plans.
You will also act as a leader to support a team of LPNs and CNAs, completion of all assigned assessments as ordered by RCM and DON.
This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires strong communication and leadership skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver nursing care to residents in accordance with established policies and procedures
- Ensure timely administration of medications and treatments
- Act as a leader and mentor to LPNs and CNAs
- Completion of all assigned assessments
Requirements
- Current and unencumbered license to practice as an RN in the state
- Ability to speak, understand, read, and write in English proficiently
- Knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, terminology, laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term care
