Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the development and management of municipal, commercial, and industrial planning and design initiatives within the water resources sector.
  • Identify and pursue new project opportunities through established client relationships and awareness of market trends.
  • Lead and supervise project teams in the creation of engineering reports, studies, and designs, adhering to recognized industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Guide project teams in the field assessment and evaluation of existing infrastructure, including treatment facilities, collection systems, and pumping stations.
  • Demonstrate flexibility in managing multiple projects, engaging directly with clients to understand their needs and advance project planning and design efforts, while also participating in relevant training programs and industry conferences.
  • Collaborate with other design and study teams to enhance responsiveness to client requirements.
  • Mentor and train project managers, project engineers, and junior engineering personnel.
  • Engage in professional organizations and technical committees to stay abreast of industry developments.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 12 years of relevant engineering experience, with a Professional Engineer registration or the ability to obtain it within six months of hire.
  • Strong ability to cultivate and maintain relationships with local clients is essential.
  • Proven leadership skills and a track record of successful teamwork.
  • Exceptional communication abilities, encompassing verbal, written, and public presentation skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, adept in conflict resolution, team leadership, and effective presentations.
  • High ethical standards and a commitment to delivering quality outcomes, along with a dedication to teamwork, respect, and integrity.
  • Willingness to travel as required, with a valid driver's license.
