Under the guidance of the Education Director, the Custodial Services Technician will be responsible for:

General Facility Upkeep
  • Maintain cleanliness in classrooms, offices, kitchens, restrooms, and communal areas.
  • Assemble educational equipment and furniture as required.
  • Perform minor repairs throughout the facility.
  • Conduct floor maintenance, including stripping and waxing.
  • Execute painting tasks as necessary.
Record Keeping and Compliance
  • Keep an accurate inventory of cleaning supplies and maintenance logs.
  • Ensure timely replenishment of supplies.
  • Communicate maintenance needs effectively to the appropriate personnel.
Professional Development
  • Engage in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
  • Maintain necessary certifications and documentation of professional activities.
  • Contribute to the center's growth through goal setting and self-assessment.
Health and Safety Standards

Physical Requirements

The role demands physical capabilities including:
