Job Summary

Soliant Health is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide essential support to the Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) and contribute to students' communication development.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Speech-Language Pathologist in delivering direct speech and language therapy services to students.
  • Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) under the supervision of the SLP.
  • Monitor and document student progress.
  • Prepare therapy materials and activities.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and other relevant school meetings as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of therapy sessions.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or related field.
  • Current SC state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant.
  • Experience working with school-aged children is a plus.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
