Role Overview: As a School-Based Speech Language Pathologist at Soliant, you will be integral in providing speech and language therapy services within a school environment. We are seeking a compassionate and skilled professional who is dedicated to positively impacting students' lives.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to evaluate students' speech, language, voice, and fluency abilities.
- Develop and execute tailored treatment plans based on assessment findings and student needs.
- Deliver direct speech therapy services, addressing articulation, language comprehension, social communication, and pragmatics goals.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school professionals to ensure cohesive care and effective intervention strategies.
- Track student progress, document therapy sessions, and communicate effectively with the school team and caregivers.
- Stay abreast of best practices and evidence-based interventions in the speech-language pathology field.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
- Experience working with school-aged children preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
