About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Service Specialist to join our team at RUSH Physical Therapy. As a Patient Service Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our patients receive exceptional care and service from the moment they arrive at our center.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage patient flow and registration, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for our patients
- Coordinate patient appointments and communicate with patients, providers, and other stakeholders as needed
- Collect co-pays and manage payer approvals and insurance authorizations
- Provide patients with information about their next appointment and respond to requests for information
- Maintain accurate records and perform administrative tasks as needed
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Healthcare experience preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
