Job Overview

This Therapeutic Support Staff/Support Staff position involves working directly with clients in their homes, developing and implementing personalized behavior treatment plans. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe and supportive environment, encouraging positive behaviors, and collaborating with families to promote independence.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Implement behavior treatment plans in accordance with client needs and goals.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, families, and caregivers.
  • Maintain accurate records of services provided.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors to ensure seamless delivery of services.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., psychology, social work, education).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working with children and families.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Valid Connecticut driver's license.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Compensation and Benefits
  • $20-$25/hour.
