As an Airport Shuttle Driver, you will play a vital role in ensuring a seamless and positive experience for our customers. You will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting passengers between airport terminals and the Hertz rental facility.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Provide punctual shuttle service to customers traveling between airport terminals and the Hertz location, adhering to all company policies, procedures, and local regulations.
  • Warmly greet boarding passengers, offer assistance with luggage, and answer inquiries in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Effectively communicate stops and safety information through the PA system or Talking Bus System. Collaborate with other Shuttle Drivers and the Bus Operations Supervisor using established codes.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by verifying reservation details and communicating with the Lounge Manager. Provide outstanding service to all customers while upholding the company's image and standards.
  • Conduct thorough bus inspections to ensure passenger and employee safety. Report any defects or damage to your supervisor promptly.
  • Maintain a professional appearance that aligns with our commitment to providing top-notch customer service, adhering to established guidelines.
  • Keep the bus clean and organized at all times, ensuring maps are readily available for passengers.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by sharing customer feedback with the team and participating in action planning to enhance performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and in compliance with company audit and Department of Transportation standards.
Qualifications:
  • A genuine passion for customer service and a keen eye for detail.
  • At least one year of commercial driving experience or a valid CDL Class B license with passenger and air brake endorsements.
  • Minimum two years of PCV catD1 driving experience (International).
  • Minimum two years of Customer Service Experience.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
Additional Requirements:
  • Obtain a DOT medical clearance.
  • Be flexible and available to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays. Be prepared to work overtime as needed.
  • Work comfortably both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively in English. Fluency in other languages is highly valued.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment with diverse tasks.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 45 pounds.
