Montgomery Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team as an Infection Prevention Specialist. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety.
Responsibilities:- Administer medications and treatments to residents, documenting all interactions and observations.
- Report findings of ongoing observations and assessments to the Charge Nurse, Nursing Supervisor, and/or Unit Manager.
- Demonstrate knowledge of basic test/lab collection values and deliver direct resident care consistent with policies and procedures.
- Prepare resident assignments considering the category of needs of the patient and competency of personnel.
- Monitor and evaluate the flow of activity and delivery of patient care provided.
- Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
- Possess a spirit of cooperation and enthusiasm to create an atmosphere conducive to rehabilitation and growth.
- Knowledge of medical, social, and psychological needs of residents, general nursing theory and practice, and infection prevention principles/methods.
- Ability to communicate well verbally with residents, families, and staff.
