Job Title: Pediatric Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Pediatric Nurse to join our team at Maxim Healthcare Services. As a Pediatric Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to pediatric patients in their own homes.

About the Job

This is a full-time position working with an 18-year-old female patient with a gtube, trach, and vent. The patient is located in Catonsville, 21228, and the shifts are Tuesday to Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Responsibilities
  • Utilize the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient/client care and/or services provided to client(s) receiving contracted services, as required.
  • Initiate the plan of care when directed and request revisions as patient status and needs change.
  • Incorporate therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions based on patient diagnosis and established goals.
  • Intervene as applicable in response to changes in patient/client condition and report changes to appropriate physician or supervisor.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, as well as, monitor and document effectiveness of intervention.
Requirements
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) License for the state in which the nurse practices.
  • Current Health Certificate (per facility Registered Nurse (RN) contract or state regulation).
  • Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
  • Current BLS card.
  • One year prior Registered Nurse (RN) experience preferred.
