Our firm primarily serves the Architectural, Engineering, Environmental Consulting, and Construction (AEC) sectors, including Government Contracting. We are currently seeking full-time Valuation and Investment Banking Analysts to join our headquarters in the DC Area.
As a vital member of our expanding team, the analysts will engage in a diverse range of corporate finance and strategic projects, which include:
- Business Valuation: Conducting valuations for ESOPs, M&A transactions, management buyouts, strategic planning, and other capital strategy initiatives.
- Mergers & Acquisitions: Facilitating M&A processes for buy-side acquisitions and sell-side representation; performing M&A valuations, deal structuring, market analysis, and financial due diligence.
- Ownership Transition Planning: Managing buyouts, ESOPs, stock redemptions, equity incentive programs, and ownership expansion strategies.
- Strategic Advisory Services: Providing insights on capital strategies and financial management.
Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related discipline; 1-2 years of pertinent experience in business valuation, investment banking, corporate banking, transaction advisory, public accounting, or similar financial services roles is required. An MBA and/or progress towards CFA, CPA, ASA, or other relevant certifications are preferred. Candidates should possess exceptional verbal and written communication skills, high proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and expertise in financial statement modeling. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, a strong team player, and exhibits meticulous attention to detail.
