Job Summary:

Vitality Works is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Technician to join our Production Processing Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing various tasks, including sanitizing utensils and equipment, measuring and blending menstruum, and monitoring kettle processes.

The ideal candidate will have prior manufacturing experience and be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis. You will work in a fast-paced environment and be able to understand and follow Standard Operating Procedures.

As a Manufacturing Technician, you will be part of a team that strives to produce high-quality products while maintaining a safe and clean work environment. You will also participate in the development and improvement of Standard Operating Procedures and Quality programming.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a visitor-ready work environment, keeping the department area organized, safe, and clean.
  • Understand and adhere to Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Participate in the development and improvement of Standard Operating Procedures and Quality programming.
  • Communicate with Lab Technician II and III, Production Manager, to improve operations, quality, and team performance.
  • Inspect and perform quality documentation on Production Records.
  • Notify peers, and/or Lab Tech III, Production Manager, QA with any concerns regarding the possibility of nonconforming product or environment.
Requirements:
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • The ability to understand written and spoken information in English in work-related documents, trainings, and day-to-day operations.
  • Monitoring operation by watching gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure machine is working properly.
  • Know basic math and how to use a calculator.
  • Ability to read temperature gauges, scales, and graduated cylinders/pitchers.
  • Ability to work in a team.
  • Know how to meet quotas.
  • The ability to quickly and repeatedly adjust the controls of a machine to exact positions.
  • The ability to lift or move heavy boxes, drums, etc. on a regular basis.
  • The ability to follow all safety measures.
